Muhammad is a Lecturer in Busines who teaches and leads several modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level here at the University.

His areas of interest include earnings management; corporate governance; capital structure; audit quality; and corporate social responsibility.

His research has been presented in high-ranking publications such as the International Journal of Economics and the International Journal of Accounting and Information Management.

In addition to his contributions as an academic at UCLan, Muhammad is also an external examiner for Universal College Lanka (UCL), Sri Lanka.

Career highlights

  • Becoming an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA)

  • Earning his PhD in Accounting and Finance at the University in 2020

 

  • Joining the British Accounting and Finance Association (BAFA)
