About the speaker

Akua Quao is the Course Leader for the MSc Applied Public Health. She has more than 20 years’ experience in health communications and training, with a track record of developing and managing interventions that focus on awareness raising, influencing behaviour change as well as addressing social and health inequalities

Akua has previously been designed the curriculum and taught on accredited Health Trainer and Health Champions programmes for UK local authorities, NHS Trusts and Premier League football clubs in London.
